Mike Cisney has been hired as Head of Consumer Lending for Lincoln Savings Bank (LSB) at the Ankeny branch. Cisney, originally from Sioux City, has a degree in Finance from the University of Northern Iowa and an MBA from the University of Iowa.
Through his role he will be working with the retail teams to streamline the lending process, develop lenders, and train in all aspects of consumer lending so they are able to meet the needs of LSB’s customers. “We will be able to positively impact the financial lives of so many of our customers,” said Cisney. “As a community bank, I want to make sure we are providing our customers with everything we have to offer.”
With over seventeen years’ experience in the financial field, he always knew he wanted to be in banking and chose to focus on the consumer side because financial literacy is important to him. “Community banking is all about relationships to me,” said Cisney. “It’s about making sure we are the trusted financial partner that helps our customers meet their goals and ensures our communities are strong moving forward.
Cisney serves as a board member for the Central Iowa Red Cross, Junior Achievement, and the Greater Des Moines Partnership’s Talent Development. He and his wife, Kate, have lived in Ankeny for the past eleven years and share two children together. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his family, watching sports, and playing golf.
