April Coonradt has been promoted to Branch Manager for Lincoln Savings Bank (LSB) at the Waterloo Tower Park branch. Coonradt has a Bachelor’s degree in Textiles & Apparel and Business from the University of Northern Iowa and joined LSB in 2019 as a Customer Service Associate. She transitioned to a Personal Banker role 2020 and then to Assistant Branch Manager in June 2021.
Through her new role as Branch Manager, she will supervise the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensure policies and procedures are compliant, and provide customer service to customers in the Waterloo community. “I am excited to be leading and teaching my team as a mentor as well as helping them set and attain goals within their own banking careers,” said Coonradt.
Coonradt gained experience in the finance industry through a retail store position where she was responsible for bringing in bank deposits. She was approached by the manager and encouraged to pursue a career in banking. She has enjoyed being a part of a bank where she has the opportunity to be involved in the community and build relationships with customers.
Coonradt, originally from Riceville, now resides in Waverly with her husband and dog. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, boating, sewing, pheasant hunting and camping.
